Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine since 2019, was thrust into the international spotlight when his country was invaded by Vladimir
Putin
's Russian forces in February 2022.
The politician has received praises for his bravery in staying in Ukraine despite reportedly being the number one target of Russian forces – and for anyone who's followed Zelensky's career, the development is a little unexpected.
Prior to his career in politics, Zelensky was an actor and comedian who famously starred in a satirical TV show, "Servant of the People," in which his character is elected president. It's not the only unusual thing in his background. This is the untold truth of Ukraine's President Zelensky.
